Our Journey
Pawprint Bookkeeping & Tax Services was founded by two passionate professionals who saw a need for a more personalized, mobile, and approachable accounting solution for small and medium-sized businesses.
Our journey began with a shared belief: financial services shouldn’t feel intimidating, rushed, or one-size-fits-all. Business owners deserve experts who not only understand the numbers—but take the time to understand them.
Co-founder Jacqueline Nelson with 25+ years of experience in tax and customer services; holds two Associate’s degrees in Business Management and Marketing/Sales. She is currently pursuing her Enrolled Agent (EA) certification, demonstrating her dedication to deep tax knowledge and client advocacy.
Co-founder Ashley Cespedes is in her junior year of a BBA program in Accounting and actively working toward the CPA license. With two Associate’s degrees—one in Business Administration and another in Applied Accounting (AAS)—they bring both a strong academic foundation and real-world experience to the firm.
Together, we’ve built Pawprint to be more than just a tax and accounting service. We’re a mobile, client-first team that offers trusted guidance, custom strategies, and responsive support—delivered wherever your business happens to be.
